The facelifted Punch EV features a sharper front-end design. It now comes with a split-LED headlamp setup, with the lighting elements more clearly separated than before. This tweak gives the SUV a more upright and modern stance.

At the rear, the SUV gets connected tail lamps along with revised bumper detailing. Tata has also introduced new alloy wheel designs to differentiate the updated model.

Two additional exterior paint options have been added:

  • Bright yellow shade
  • Darker copper bronze finish

These join the existing colour palette and aim to give buyers more personalization choices.

New Battery Options with Up to 468km Range

The Punch EV facelift is now offered with a new 40kWh battery pack that claims an ARAI-certified range of up to 468km on a single charge. In practical driving conditions, the real-world range is estimated at around 355km.

A new mid-spec 30kWh battery variant has also been introduced. This version offers a real-world driving range of approximately 265–280km, depending on usage conditions.

With this update, the earlier 25kWh and 35kWh battery options have been discontinued.

Bigger Touchscreen and ADAS Added

Inside the cabin, the biggest change comes in the form of a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, replacing the older 10.24-inch unit. The new system supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and features an updated interface.

Higher variants of the Punch EV facelift are equipped with:

  • Premium audio system
  • Powered driver’s seat
  • Ventilated front seats
  • Electric sunroof
  • Wireless charging
  • Touch-based HVAC controls

In terms of safety, the SUV now offers a Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite in select variants, adding features designed to enhance on-road safety.

Lifetime Battery Warranty Announced

In a move aimed at improving buyer confidence in electric vehicles, Tata Motors is offering a lifetime battery warranty with unlimited kilometres for the first registered owner of the new Punch EV.
