Indian Drishti aims to give readers useful, checked information before they travel. This policy explains how we write, verify and correct.
How we write
- Every article is original; we do not copy content from other sites.
- Facts such as opening hours, fees and rules are checked against official sources (for example the Archaeological Survey of India, state tourism departments, or the venue’s official website).
- Every travel guide shows the date its details were last checked.
- The author and publish date appear on every article; an updated date appears after significant changes.
- Where historical accounts differ, we say so.
Photographs
We use our own photographs or properly licensed images, and credit photographers where required.
Independence, advertising and sponsorship
The site earns revenue from Google AdSense ads. Ads do not influence editorial content. Sponsored stories, free services or affiliate links will be disclosed in the relevant article.
Corrections
If you find wrong or outdated information, send the article link and the correct details through our contact form or [email protected]. We check and correct the article. Significant factual corrections are noted at the end of the article with the date; spelling or minor language fixes may be made without a note.
